Foroyaa has concluded its investigation of drug shortages in hospitals which was acknowledged by the health authorities who gave explanation for this.
The public sector is meant to promote equality in the use of public services such as hospitals, schools and so on. Any shortage of drugs could be very detrimental to the health of the population. It is therefore the responsibility of health authorities to ensure that all essential drugs are available in all health facilities.
