Readers would recall the UTG had to close operations due to the downing of tools. Foroyaa had endeavoured to find out whether lectures would resume so that the students would take their exams. On Monday, 6th January, 2025, a Foroyaa reporter visited the UTG premises and found out that the students were taking their exams. It is however not clear whether a final settlement has been reached between the lecturers and the university administration.
Foroyaa will continue to monitor developments and report any developments.
