Africa’s military regimes and other elected governments are attending endless summits with the intention of building relations with different countries that are deemed wealthy. The irony is that Africa has all the minerals, gas and other natural or mineral resources that those countries have. The amount of sovereign national wealth they could accumulate through a continental sovereign wealth could never be equaled by those who dish out loans to them.
Many leaders have lost sight of the fact that dependency and domination are two sides of the same coin. A dependent nation is a dominated one. The Africa that can be free is the one that frees itself from dependency and relates to all countries in the world on the basis of equality and mutual interest.
