Police Arrest Man for Alleged Possession of Cocaine

The Tourism Security Unit of the Gambia Police Force within the Senegambia Tourism area has arrested one Seedia Colley, a resident of Brusubi Phase One, for alleged possession of suspected cocaine. 

According to the Spokesperson of the GPF Cadet Assistant Superintendent Modou Musa Sisawo, the arrest occurred at a checkpoint during routine vehicle searches on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

“The suspect has been processed and handed over to the Drug Law Enforcement Officers for further action,” he said.

According to Police Spokesperson Sisawo, the Gambia Police Force remains vigilant in combating drug-related crimes and continues its efforts to uphold public safety.
