Foroyaa is in possession of a letter written by Halifa Sallah on the Israel/Palestine conflict which will be published in a supplement. In the letter he indicated that the suicidal attack by Hamas and the genocidal attack of Israel on Gaza are both not a solution to the conflict. He proposed a way forward that had never been proposed before and warned Israel that its attempt to corner Hamas in Gaza may lead it to take a last stand in doing the greatest damage that it could do to itself (Israel). He intimated that the only decision that is in the interest of the Israeli and Palestinian people is to have a ceasefire followed by negotiation to implement the proposal he suggested.
