Operatives of the Drugs Law Enforcement Agency-The Gambia (DLEAG) stationed at the Amdalai village border post in the North Bank Region, have intercepted a Senegalese national who hid three hundred and three (303) pills of ecstasy (Gaw-Gaw), a local illicit drug, in his underwear.
Ousman Saidybah, the Public Relations Officer of DLEAG, said Ibrahim Cissokho, a 31-year-old Senegalese national who is said to be a driver by occupation and resident of Dakar, allegedly wrapped the said illegal drugs in a transparent nylon bag and placed it in his underwear. He said the suspect was taken into custody while operatives further probed into the matter.
