The increased use of hard drugs should compel the authorities to get expert analysis on the scale of drug abuse in the country, the types of drugs used, the supply chain and the challenges being faced by the drug addicts. The data collected should inform the type of rehabilitation centre and mechanism which must be utilised to address the drug menace.
