The National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) on the 10th of November announced through their Facebook page that The Gambia’s Minister for Petroleum and Energy, Mr Abdou Jobe, and the Prime Minister of Guinea Conakry, Dr Bernard Goumou, joined forces to formalise a transformative addendum to the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between the National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) and Électricité de Guinée (EDG).
According to NAWEC, Key Highlights of this Pioneering Agreement are as follows:
