Two Gambia College students from the School of Agriculture are seeking financial assistance in order to pay their tuition fee at the college.
These students have completed their High Diploma at the college and are dreaming of going to the University of the Gambia.
Fatoumata Sambou, one of the students who walked into Foroyaa’s office, said she has completed her program at the College, but has not completed the payment of her tuition fee.
“The management of the college said we will not get our certificates if we don’t complete our payment,” she said.
The two students- Fatoumata Sambou and Zainab R. Badjie- are supposed to pay D24, 000 each for their two years program at the college.
“We want to further our education at the University of The Gambia but with these conditions, I don’t think that will be possible. Education in the Gambia is getting expensive by the day,” said Zainab R. Badjie.
For assistance, the two students can be reached on the following numbers: 3675729, 3199234, 2239718, or 2801151. Their tuition fee can also be paid to the college bank account. Eco Bank: 007134904111201.
