When will President Barrow address the nation and what should he say?

QUESTION OF THE DAY

The state of the nation address delivered at the National Assembly is still outstanding. State house is yet to indicate when the president will face National Assembly members and address his legislative and development programmes.

The question around his tenure is the burning issue of the day. The fact that he can appoint and dismiss members of founder parties of the coalition confirms that they have no influence over him as a group. Hence, he alone is qualified to address the nation and explain his position on his tenure of office. We hope he will take the initiative to explain his position so that Gambians can go back to the drawing board to know what is the best way to receive his decision in order to guarantee peace, democracy and development in our homeland.
