Gambia striker Muhamed Keita’s goal has been voted best of the league so
far.
In a poll conducted by T. Mobile Ekstraklasa, sponsors of the Polish premier league, and voted for by fans, the 24-year-old garnered four thousand of the votes cast with his closest rival Brzyskiemu Thomas securing a thousand votes.Starzyńskiemu Philip finished third. The video, watched by twenty-one thousand and forty-eight viewers on Youtube, sees the former Stromgodset man spraying from near the centre a long screamer that beat a bewildered Gornik Leczna goalkeeper to the back of the net.
The goal scored in October, was the forward’s debut for the fallen Polish giants following his move from Norwegian champions Stromgodset.
Beset by injuries, Muhamed has now gone for two months without a goal making eleven cameos in 19 league matches. He was subbed in the 60th minute in his final match on December 13 before the league break.]]>
