By Sulayman Bah A Gambia goalkeeper has signed the dotted lines to join a club in the Senegalese ‘championat’, Foroyaa Sport can report. Alagie Jobe moves from Gambian champions Real de Banjul to Niarry Tally upon finalizing a three-year deal on an undisclosed sum. Jobe, a 26-year-old has been the subject of attention after impressing while appearing for the SK East selection in a match against the visiting Senegalese outfit on pre-season in the country. Dubbed ‘Toldo’ by local fans, Alagie –who has been a surrogate between the sticks for the Gambia national team for over a decade – new contract with Senegalese premier league and Grand-Dakar-based side runs until 2017. Having made the switch, the net-minder told the RDB’s website: “This is a dream come true and a great joy to be joining Niarry Tally. I’m very excited about playing in Senegal and I want to thank William [Abraham], Pa Yusupha [Samba], Bakary [Jammeh], Riad Azzi and the Real Executive for the opportunity. I wish the Club all the best!” Jobe has travelled to Senegal with Niarry Tally ahead of the commencement of Senegal’s league championat.
