QUESTION OF THE DAY
Every Gambian should realise that the role of jurists is to put the convictions of people regarding the type of supreme law they considered fit to guide them, to rule themselves under the law into a legal text. Hence all Gambians should take part in the Constitutional review exercise by stating what they did not approve in past Constitutions and recommend what they want to become part of a new Constitution. In the same vein they should also reflect on what is missing in other Constitutions and promote the inclusion in future ones. This is the way to enrich a national debate on the way forward for a reformed Constitution.
