By Sulayman Bah Club Tay Shinger’s top gun Eumeu Sene has accepted suggestion to take on deposed King of the Arena Balla Gaye in a rematch. Sene has been tipped to face Balla Gaye since his defeat to Modou Lo in the middle of this year and who also bit the dust to current arena boss Bombardier. The two have been touted to a rematch all season but it appears the much anticipated duel will likely hold after Eumeu’s latest comments expressing readiness to hand the Lion of Geudiwaye chance for a revenge. Balla was reduced to a desolate figure and left head bowed after he lost out to a much experienced Eumeu in 2009. A promoter had earlier proposed to meet the camps of the two wrestlers immediately after the Muslim Tobaski feast but is unclear whether or not any agreement has been brokered. Opening up for the second time since his defeat to parcel-based Modou Lo, Eumeu Senne who also has a large following in the Gambia told Sunu Lamb, “Someone came several times to my house to offer me a fight against Balla Gaye 2. But I have not seen him since we agreed on the stamp and everything. I’m listening to him (the promoter) as I’m always willing for the combat to be organised.” Meanwhile, Balla is due to grace an intriguing wrestling contest between Senegal’s Bayemandiaye and Serrekunda-based Boy Balla in the Gambia on October 26th.]]>
