Sidi Ceesay, a 13- year old boy is seeking for urgent assistance to
continue his grade 7 education. Young Sidi visited Foroyaa offices with an emotional mother who was close to tears, to launch his appeal on Thursday 21st September 2017.
Sidi said he urgently needs support to pay for his books and stationaries in order to continue his schooling at the Latrikunda Upper Basic School.
“I was given admission by the school administration, but my parents cannot afford to pay for my book bills,” the 13 -year old boy lamented. Sidi said his father was bed ridden with illness and his mother was not in any position to provide such exorbitant sum of money.
“I really don’t want to drop out of school. My aim is to have good education, help my family and my country,” Sidi appealed.
Sidi appeals to government, donor agencies, Embassies, NGOs and any good philanthropist, to come to his aid.
