Lamin Colley, Ndemban Jola’s gaffer has rued his side’s profligacy in front of goal following a 0-0 draw with Amsterdam in the Foni Brefet district tourney.

The two sides played out a stalemate in a game that saw two yellow cards dished out.

But Colley believes the game would have panned out differently had his charges made their chances count.

‘Our strike force left much to be desired but we dominated. The team did well especially the midfield. Our opponents are a ball-possessing team and it wasn’t easy,’ Colley said in post-match comments.

His opposing number in the dug-out Omar Jammeh of Sutusinjang-based Amsterdam voiced delight over his young team’s performance.

‘I’m happy with the score (0-0) because this is a new team with young players and this is also my first time as a coach handling the team.

‘Ndemban are a matured team and this is the first time we’re playing them. The forward line is my problem but we will try to fix it in our next schedule,’ Jammeh said.
