The cost of movement of people and goods are increasing. The public needs explanation why Government would increase the cost of a service from 1000 dalasis in 2013 to 3000 dalasis in 2014. The country needs a Public Services Regulatory Authority which should monitor all institutions which impose cost on services and assess the fairness of any increase in charges for public services. The Public needs protection from overcharges. An increase of 200 percent for a service is difficult to comprehend. The public needs an explanation and adequate protection from the burden of excessive charges. ]]>
