It is the position of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice that his office is ready to maintain standards of best practice in the delivery of justice. He emphasized the need to investigate and then prefer charges based on the evidence gathered, rather than to arrest and then investigate.

Furthermore he emphasized the need to build institutions before undertaking judicial remedy to any alleged past injustice.

These measures do indicate that the office of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice will not tolerate any form of impunity in the delivery of justice.

Foroyaa will now follow the actions of the ministry and monitor the institutions and measures to ensure that justice is done and seen to be done without fear or favour, affection or ill will.
