Domestic football leagues in the country will fling back to action after an end to the biting political impasse.

The crisis led to the postponement of last mid-week games with the controversial state of emergency, imposed by outgoing President Yahya Jammeh,  adding to the last straw.

However with the dust beginning to settle, it’s all back to action for all who have football at heart. Games begin tomorrow featuring a second division fixture between leaders Fortune FC and second-placed Wallidan in Banjul.

Blue Star and Brufut United face off at the SK East Park with Red Hawks taking on Kexx United at the Stadium.

League One matches will continue over the weekend on Saturday 28th January with Match Day Eight where top of the table clash fixture between leaders Real De Banjul and second place GAF comes on at the Sere Kunda East while Hawks welcomes Samger at the Independence Stadium and Brikama United hosts Tallinding at the Box Bar mini stadium in Brikama.
