Information has it that security forces yesterday released on bail 14 out of 18 men arrested in Babylon on Tuesday, while 4 others are 
still held.
Family sources say that the arrestees are to report at the police today, 1 July. The same sources added that the men released have not been charged. Foroyaa is also informed that the remaining four have not yet been released because relatives were late to go and bail them.
It could be recalled that the arrest of 18 men from Babylon came in the wake of an announcement that was made by the Ministry of Lands and Regional Government that Babylon settlement is not recognised by the Government of the Gambia and that Mr Lamin Jarju is not also recognised as the Alkalo of the said settlement.
