By Sulayman Bah Gambia Karate Association will this Sunday go to the polls to ballot in a new executive. Currently run by a select eight-man Interim Committee, the Karate’s executive were dissolved last year by the National Sports Council for failure to meet outlined criteria set for national sporting associations. Though candidates vying for the presidency hot-seat is undisclosed, the elective congress is to be held at the Independence Stadium 9:00am. At the gathering, delegates of the sport are expected to adopt the newly developed constitution. ]]>
