Provisional report released by the Guinean government has revealed that 56 people died and and many injured in a clash during football match between the Labé and Nzérékoré teams in the town of Nzérékoré, according to local reports.
Following the tragedy that has shaken Guinea, reports say the government has announced free medical care and psychological support for the victims.
An investigation has also been opened to determine who is responsible for this tragedy. On site, the situation seems to be under control this morning, but families continue to search for missing relatives. A crisis committee has been set up to manage the emergency and help the affected families.
