33-Year-Old Seeks Assistance For Overseas Treatment

Alieu Njie, a 33-year-old man residing in Bakau, Kanifing Municipality, is seeking assistance in order to facilitate his overseas treatment.

According to his medical report, Alieu was referred to the Kanifing General Hospital on account of traumatic pneumothorax, presented with a four months history of cough and chest pain. The report stated that he has no history of smoking.

The medical report added that Alieu however started TB treatment at the Kanifing General Hospital and stopped because there was no improvement.

“On admission, he had diminished air-entry on the right hemithorax. Admitting diagnosis: Hydopncumothorax.

“I have spent the little income I have and am now referred for overseas treatment. I have nothing to facilitate my overseas medical bills,” he said.

The family of Mr. Njie is seeking assistance from philanthropists, government, non-government organizations or individuals.
