A 29-year-old man residing in Bundung, Kanifing Municipality, is seeking financial assistance in order to pay his medical bill.
The 29-year-old man has been asked by a local hospital in the Gambia to go for overseas treatment. The patient is suffering from kidney failure and was diagnosed by doctors in a local hospital in the Gambia and his medical report indicated that he needed to go for overseas treatment for an operation.
Alieu Baldeh, the elder brother of Demba Baldeh (the patient) who walked into Foroyaa’s office, said since his brother was diagnosed five months ago, he has been spending money on his health, but he cannot still regain his health.
“Recently we were told by a local hospital that I need to facilitate an overseas medical treatment for him in order for him (Demba) to be operated, but I cannot still do it because I don’t have the money to do so,” he said.
