QUESTION OF THE DAY
The grand alliance which gave President Barrow 457,519 and victory in eight of the fifty-three constituencies did not deliver the same result in the National Assembly elections which gave the NPP only one seat in the whole of Banjul, KM and West Coast regions.
Now that the National Assembly is fully constituted with a Speaker and Deputy Speaker; Majority and Deputy Majority leader; and Minority and Deputy Minority leader, the nation is waiting to find out whether there will be a cabinet reshuffle to give the country the post-election government that the members of the grand alliance are expecting.
Foroyaa is monitoring and will give a clear analysis on the type of executive and legislature the voters have made possible during the 2022-2027 executive and legislative mandate.
