Hamas’ suicidal adventure in Israel has unfortunately been given a genocidal response by Israel. The memorial in Rwanda is proving that those who perpetrate genocide will not be able to hide from history which is likely to record their deeds for generations. This is precisely why power must be checked and not be allowed to be misused to promote self-perpetuating rule. It is hoped that the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Rwanda will be a lesson for Israel.
