QUESTION OF THE DAY
The President, The Mayor and a team of all the Alkalolu in KM should take a tour to look at the roads in KM and hold a press conference to explain what is responsible for their state and what is to be done to upgrade them.
The Government is talking about hosting the OIC and is receiving donor support to upgrade its infrastructure. There does not appear to be any memorandum between the KMC and the Government to facilitate the upgrading of the infrastructure in KM. Instead of the mobilisation of community leaders for election those in position of leadership should mobilise them for development. Community leaders who allow themselves to be mobilized for election rather than for development while the infrastructure in their communities deteriorate cannot be said to be motivated by community interest.
