QUESTION OF THE DAY
WHICH PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES TOOK PART IN THE CONFERENCE OF PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES HELD AT KAIRABA BEACH HOTEL ON 14 SEPTEMBER 2016?
The presidential candidates who either participated or sent representatives are Dr Lamin Bojang, Halifa Sallah, Hamat Bah representad by Musa Sonko and Mamma Kandeh representated by Yusupha Jaiteh. It is true that Foroyaa did publish the photograph of Dr Isatou Touray and Mr Amada Barrow along with the other presidential candidates excluding Hon Hamat Bah. This however was an error. The pictures that should have been published are those of Dr Lamin Bojang, Halifa Sallah, Mr Musa Sonko representing Hon. Hamat Bah and Yusupha Jaiteh representing Hon Mamma Kandeh. Dr Isatou Touray and Mr Amadou Barrow did not participate and were not represented. The UDP and Dr Isatou Touray did send observers in the person of Mr Alhagie Darboe and Amie Bojang and Ramzia Diab respectively. In addition NRP, GDC and PDOIS did also send two party observers each. GMC, GPDP and PPP did not send observers.
The conference is to reconvene for further discussion and consensus building.
