WHERE IS SARJO JALLOW?
Foroyaa has received information that Sarjo Jallow left Sweden on 22 August 2016 to come to The Gambia to fulfill his 
appointment as ‘Deputy Minister’ of Foreign Affairs with effect from 23 August 2016. Up to 2 September he moved about to carry out his own family duties. To the surprise of the family, it is reported that his residence was burgled on two occasions the latest being 1 September 2016 when a laptop got missing.
On the 2 September 2016 he spoke to a family member and discussed about the break in. Subsequently all calls were not received. Since 2 September Sarjo Jallow could not be reached. Family members have been trying to know his whereabouts.
What is proper for all family members to do is to go to the police stations within the jurisdiction of his residence, the police headquarters and the NIA headquarters to launch a complaint of his disappearance and further investigate whether it could be officially confirmed that he is under the custody of one of the security outfits.
His appointment was rescinded on 1 September 2016.
