Many communities are complaining of rising up at late hours in order to fetch water in containers to sustain supply of water during the day when there is no water supply. School children are finding it difficult to have water to bath before going to school.
There is need for a holistic assessment to be done of the water supply that is required by those inhabiting towns and villages in order to address the problem. Water is crucial to life and sanitation. To make safe drinking water accessible and available is necessary if a government is to be seen to be fit for purpose.
