Foroyaa did approach the Director of Health Services to get an opinion on the treatment meted to gunshot victims. The director explained that all the victims received appropriate treatment. He argued that not all victims with bullets lodged in their bodies would be subjected to surgery. In some cases, more harm would be done surgery. That it is part of medical science to give time for the bullet to surface to the right depth before it is taken out.
Foroyaa will continue to monitor the conditions of the gunshot victims until they are healed.
