THE FIRST ELECTIONS PRESIDED OVER BY THE BARROW GOVERNMENT

72

All eyes should be on deck to monitor how election is conducted for the first time under the Barrow administration.

It is important for proper scrutiny to be exercised as reports from URR indicate that state vehicles are being utilized to conduct electoral campaign. This is against the letter and spirit of the Elections Act. International observers are likely to be present.

Hence the government should instruct all its ministers not to violate the letter and spirit of the Elections Act especially the use of government vehicles for political objects.
