The clock is ticking and the day when the people will make their decision known is just about a week away.
Needless to say, the candidates and their campaign teams have no time to spare as they intensify their efforts to win the hearts and minds of the undecided voters and even voters on the other.
The new element in this election is what appears to be a movement to vote President Jammeh out of office, which has given rise to huge crowds with thousands marching in support of the opposition with a lot of euphoria. The success of this movement depends on the resolve of the people. Are they resolved to remove the incumbent from power? The answer will be known on 2 December.
