Gambian striker AlagieSosseh put his awful debut for new club SiahJamegan behind him to score his first goal AlagieSossehfor the Iranian Premier League side.

The left-footer powerful attacker broke the deadlock ten minutes into the second-half before team-mate Zamehran doubled the lead in the 66th minute.

Khaziravi halved the deficit for visitors and bottom-placed Esteghal Ahvaz but it was too late as Siah sealed a 2-1 victory in what was a battle of relegation-threatened clubs.

Sosseh who joined as a free agent on a short term deal becoming the first ever Gambian to play in the Persian Gulf league, made it from the start.

Alagies witched clubs after passing his medical last week. The deal comes on the back of the 29-year-old’s departure from relegated Norwegian side Nest-Sotra whom he starred for eleven times last term.

He arrives at the club as a massive signee hoping to light up hope into a club languishing second –from-bottom in the sixteen team standings after seventeen matches.

The left-footer who got recalled to the Gambia national team recently – playing a role in the Scorpions’ equalizing goal against Namibia in Banjul – was initially in Mjøndalen’s books before his shock move to Nest-Sotra.
