National team player Ebrima Sohna has penned a two-and-half year deal
with Kuwait Premier league club Al-arabi.
Sohna signed the dotted lines this week after finalizing a mandatory medical.The 27-year-old,who was on a hiatus in the country playing a handful
of exhibition games during His sabbatical moments, has since flown to
Kuwait where he is now training with his new team-mates.
The Kuwait league is 15 games old with eleven remaining to end of the
championship. Ebrima’s acquisition, it is hoped will offer Al-Arabi
Sporting Club a much needed reinforcement in the middle of the park.
Sohna’s new Kuwaiti club narrowly missed out on the title to rivals Al
Kuwati the previous season but believe the Gambian could offer the
defense a much needed protection.
The former Steve Biko playmaker was recently quoted fancying the English Premier League.
However his new journey though is a world
apart from his intended destination.
He becomes the second Gambian to play in Kuwait after captain Abdou
Jammeh of recent.
