Madac stole the showdown to grab a spot to the next round after
beating Kanifing Layout on 5-4 penalties while Latrikunda tore Tigers on 4-3 post-match kicks following a one-all stalemate in
regular time.
Pencha got shocked on a 2-0 score by Sankum in an earlier kick-off
with Erinjang going through on penalties. Jarinton also did just what
they thought of Sticklers as Konge Bi hammered Uprising 2-1.
Matches resume today with Bengazi crossing daggers with Madac as Sakum
faces Erinjang.
Meanwhile, the pace in the Brikama knockout Cup is showing no sign of
slowing up as Skypower taunted Daru United in a latest fixture.
Regular time wrapped up on a goalless note. Daru had always beaten
Skypower but it was a different ball game when the sides met
this weekend. Skypower eased past Daru on penalties.
Gidda Youth also walked past Headquarters Borderline on 4-2 post-match
penalties following a one-all affair in normal time.
