SISTER T FASHION DESIGN AND COSMETICS DONATES TO BASORY NURSERY SCHOOL

By Saikou Suwareh Jabai Sister-T Fashion Design and Cosmetics, this week, presented Thirty Five (35) water bottles to Basory Nursery School at a ceremony held at the school ground in the Kombo East District of the West Coast Region. Tida Jallow, the Proprietor of Sister-T Fashion Design and Cosmetics, in presenting the bottles, said the donation is in line with her desire to fulfill her corporate social responsibility, especially to her customers. He added that the school has been patronizing her business in the form of buying uniforms. ‘’These donated water bottles are meant to promote the welfare of the students as well as for them to access clean drinking system,’’ she said. She added that this is to complement the efforts of the school administration, parents and guardians of the students who bought uniform from her business and that this is the token in reciprocity and to say to them “thank you” for patronizing her business. ‘’Sister-T Fashion Design and Cosmetics would continue to support the education of the young people of our dear district through every means to help in promoting quality education,” she said. In accepting the donated items on behalf of the school, Fatou Jabang, the Head Teacher of the school, lauded the donor for such a gesture, adding that the items would go a long way in promoting the welfare of the pupils. She further told the gathering that promoting grassroot education is essential as the kids in whose name the donation is done are the future. She assured that the donated items would be put into good use. Sister T Fashion Design and Cosmetics emanated from an entrepreneurship training programme by YEP-AFRICA, a Gambian-Netherlands Youth Enterprise Development, in which Madam Jallow participated successfully thus resulting in the establishment of her own business.]]>
