The 2017 National volleyball league curtain raiser, taking the shape of a Super Cup final kicks off at the independence stadium in Bakau on Saturday April 15th 2017.
Gambia Armed Forces female team will entertain Interior in the early kickoff in the women’s competition, while GAF will hosts the police in the male category.
The curtain-raiser also marks beginning of the domestic volleyball 2016/2017 league.
GAF male volleyball team won the league for the first time last season against a resolute Interior side however the police went onto win the cup final 3-2 against the soldiers. The two will meet again for the season opener and the biggest prize on Saturday.
The finals starts at 16:30.
