Shipped on loan from Polish side Lech Poznan, would-be Gambia international Muhamed has revealed desire to 
extend his deal with Norwegian giants Strømsgodset.
Stromgodset acquired the winger’s services on a short-term deal which is on the brink of elapse and so far no talks have taken place between the player’s agent and the club.
But the 25-year-old ex-Norway-youth international plans on renewing his commitment with the side.
The dribbling machine is on the form of his life this campaign proving particularly pivotal in filling the boots of the club’s main striker who’s nursing a knock. His input so far makes him one of the Norwegian premier league most dangerous forwards.
The Serrekunda-born who grew up in the Scandinavian country was key in the club’s title triumph in 2014 and replicating that form this year has inevitably endeared him to fans who wouldn’t wish to see the back of him too soon.
And Muhamed himself is ardent on putting pen-to-paper but insists the contract conditions and environment must first be favourable in spite of spending seven seasons with Strømsgodset.
‘I’m on loan, so it is perfect to give them (Strømsgodset) everything I have,’ he says in the aftermath of the game against Tromsø in which his lone goal was decisive.
‘Yeah, we’ll see (about whether he will sign a deal or not). We have not come to the negotiating table yet. But I and Flo (the Sports Director) usually tend to agree. Of course I would want to stay. Here is my home. I want to stay here (with Strømsgodset). But at the same time things must be right too. If my development is to be in Strømsgodset, I shall be here. If my development is to go out, then I go out,’ he emphasizes.
Muhamed’s current deal runs out August 15.
