Club Side BK Hacken are wary over the suspected injury on star
footballer winger Demba Savage.
The Gambia international picked up what appeared to be a hamstring
injury after colliding into an opponent during a domestic championship
duel against AIK Solna. In a contested that ended 3-2 in Solna’s favour, Demba cut a desolate
figure as he sat on the grass before been walked to the sidelines with
the help of a club medic grimacing in apparent sheer agony.
The former Gambia Ports Authority wing-wizard lasted barely
twenty-five minutes in the pitch. The 27-year-old is the second player
to be hit with what looked like an injury though result of scanning,
determining extent of the injury, is yet to be revealed.
Swedish premier league outfit Hacken won the Swedish Cup last Thursday
in which Demba scored the equalizing goal before playing again two
days later. The tight schedule of fixtures the club believes is to
blame for the injuries to its players.
