Gambia international SulaymanMarreh has finally made his debut 
in Spain Primera Division for Granada CF last week.
The 19-year-old got a surprise debut from the starting line up in Granada’s match against RayoVallecano in what was the two sides’ eighth league match.
It took a last-gasp goal from Angola’s Manucho Goncalves to settle deal poking in the 93rd minute to hand visitors Rayo all points in front of a 19,000-supporter turn out at the Estadio Nuevo Los.
The midfielder’s appearance is reportedly fastened in efforts to wad off overtures from Inter Milan who’re courting the player.
Marreh however didn’t last long and was hauled off the pitch in the first 46th minute after getting cautioned a minute earlier.
The Gambian donning the club number 26 jersey, left Gambian fans at home glued to their TV sets writing a record of being the second Gambian import to have played in the Spanish top flight in history after Alhaji Momodou BiriBiri Njie who played for Seville in 1973-1978.
BakaryKambi Njie became the first non-Gambian export to have played in the Spanish top echelon when he featured in the final ten minutes for Espanyol last year before moving to the Bulgarian league a month later.
Kambi is born in Spain to a Gambian parent.
Meaanwhile, Marreh will hope his performance convinces the gaffer to hand more playing time in coming games.]]>
