Gambian stopper Ousman Koli has completed a move to Maltese club, Mosta.
The former U-17 defender signed as a midfielder with Malta’s premier
league side on Monday.
The 26-year-old’s move makes him the second Gambian plying his tradein the Maltese championship after Hamza Barry of Valletta.
He joins on an undisclosed fee from Slovenian second tier side NK
Ankaran Hrvatini.
The former Steve Biko captain dubbed Dalmat and who’s capped with the
Gambia national team, is a journeyman type of a player after stints in
France, Bangladesh, Slovenia and now Malta.
Mosta sits sixth in the 12-eam standing on twenty-five points after
twenty-one league matches.
Meanwhile, Gambian Manchester United starlet Saidy Janko has moved to
Championship side Bolton Wanderers on loan until end of the
season.
The 19-year-old was signed from Swisss club Zurich last year.
