Gambia international Ousman Jallow got a 90-minute chance on his debut for Kazakhstan Premier League sideOUS JALLOW STARS ON DEBUT Irtshy Pavlador showing home fans the reason for the fuss about him even before he signed.

In a game his club won by a slender one goal courtesy of team-mate Small’s decisive whip four minutes from break, the Gambian showed flashes of brilliance in front of goal, turning the heat on Okzhetpes’s goalkeeper Babakanov in the  20th minute in the second-half.

However, the visitors’ net-minder wasn’t the one to be caught off guard on that occasion and reacted well blocking the Scorpion’s shot with a right-hander.

The 27-year-old though didn’t get on the score sheet but gave a good account of his potentials before leaving the pitch to cheers in the 90th minute.

Jallow joined the Kazakh outfit on free transfer after turning his back on former club Helsinki’s contract renewal offer.

The front-man was poised to pen the dotted lines following an impressive display on his season debut.

Ousman’s decision to shun extending his stay beyond 12-month with HJK sparked speculations about his imminent departure amid widespread reports he could seek new pastures in China’s Super League.

The ex-Brondby goal-getter however headed for Kazakhstan;s side Palvador’s whom he impressed while on an outing for HJK against Kazakh champions Astana in the Champions League qualifiers last year.
