President Barrow Promises To Build Strong Foundation Of Democracy If Elected

Before President Barrow set out to start his campaign yesterday 9th November 2021, he said he will build a strong foundation of democracy if elected.

“Our this five years we consider it as a transitional period now going forward after 4th December I think that will be a new start for this country, we will build a strong foundation of democracy moving forward,” he said when the press engaged him at State House.

Barrow said he wants Gambians to listen to his message as they have a lot to offer.

The President said they have been impacting the lives of the Gambian people for the past four years and that they will continue to do so in their next term.

He said they need the support of everyone, especially the media, whom he urged to report accurately.

“We don’t want you to support anybody but report accurately what is happening on the ground,” he said.

He called on Gambians to continue supporting him for security, stability economic growth and development of the country.

Adama Barrow is the current President of the Gambia and candidate for National People’s Party (NPP). 

He was elected into office under a coalition in 2016. 

Barrow was born in Mankamang Kunda a village in Jimara District, Upper River Region.
