Gambian track starlet Omar Jammeh has said he’s ready for the All Africa Games.
Gambia is due to partake in the All-Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville where the multi-sport tournament is to be staged next month.
And ahead of commencement of what’s promised to be a cracking occasion, the 19-year-old said he’s arsenal ready to vie for the staked prizes.
‘I’m here with the center along with Gina Bass (female athlete) but we’re really ready to complete at the moment and by God’s grace (I) will be back in few days’ time,’ the middle distance runner told Foroyaa Sport.
The 800m athlete was most recently in action in Senegal scooping gold in both the nationals and sub-regional competitions.
Omar with a 1:49.90 timing in the 800m in 2013 was in France last month with countryman Adama Jammeh where they had standard track facilities to their disposal to up their game ahead of oncoming championships.
