By Sulayman Bah The first Gambian to have signed for an English Premier League club Omar Koroma has gotten himself a new club, Foroyaa Sport can report. The winger, released by Green Rovers in the fifth tier of English football last season on mutual consent, impressed following a trial with Dulwich Hamlet Football Club. The helmet pink and blues –the side’s nickname – plies its trade in the Isthmian League –sixth division of English football. OJ made his debut for the club last week in a match that ended a stalemate and even helped assist one of the two goals scored by his side. Once considered one of Gambia’s brightest talents in 2010, the ex-Banjul Hawks has been on the dwindling end since being waived by administration-hit Portsmouth. His frequent injuries have also not helped his case. He had had stints at Norwich City then in the Championship and Forest Green Rovers, and an unsuccessful trial in Brondby and lately at Tijan Jaiteh’s Sandness Ulf in his football journey.]]>
