Omar AlieuKoroma a Gambian midfield-winger got on the score sheet Tuesday
night firing in the opening goal in Dulwich’sHamlet’s win in the
Ihsmaian league.
Koroma blasted home from a scramble in the box placing his shot past a
stunned Angel goalkeeper to the back of the net.
Delwich later doubled the score from the spot-kick to put the game
beyond Angel’s reach.
OJ, released by Green Rovers last season on mutual consent, joined Dulwich Hamlet Football following a trial. The helmet pink and blues
–the side’s nickname – plies its trade in the Isthmian League –sixth
division of English football.
OJ made his debut for the club two weeks ago in a match that ended a
stalemate and even helped assist one of the two goals scored by his
side.
Once considered one of Gambia’s brightest rising talent in 2010, the ex-Banjul Hawks has been dwindling in performance since being
waived by administration-hit Portsmouth. Frequent injuries have also
not helped his case.
He had had stints at Norwich City then in the Championship and Forest
