Babucarr Gaye, a resident of Ebo Town, is seeking help to complete his collapsed building at Sotokoi, in the Kombo East district of the West Coast Region (WCR).

Gaye said his incomplete building was badly destroyed by the first windstorm which hit the country last July, left him in grief and distress; adding that the Alkalo of Sotokoi, Bala Kujabi, last year sold the land (30×30) to him for D35,000 and has only paid D15,000, having a balance of D20,000 left to be paid.

He said through the mercy of the Alkalo, he told him to erect a building on the land so that he can have a better place to stay with his family and will be paying his debt gradually.

At the same time, he said he is trying everything possible to fend for his family’s needs.

Upon heeding to the Alkalo’s advice, Gaye said he managed to construct a 3 bedroom and parlour structure with clay bricks, after which he was given a notice by his landlord to vacate his residence in Ebo Town, after he (the landlord) realized that he was building a house.

Gaye call on NGOs, philanthropists and individuals to come to his aid in order for him to rebuild his collapsed house, buy congregate for roofing and some cement, and pay the remaining D20,000 of the Alkalo before the expiration of his notice.

For any assistance, Gaye can be contacted on these numbers: 2155434 or 9456834.
