Reports reaching Foroyaa indicate that one Bilaly Ceesay of Jarumeh Koto village in the Sami District of the Central River Region North, was allegedly stabbed to death by one Lamin Samura, who is also a resident of the same village.
According to information, the incident is said to have happened on Tuesday December 15th 2020, between the hours of 21.00 and 22.00.
According to sources, the two young men were engaged in a heated argument as to who was more professional in carpentry; that as the argument intensified, Lamin allegedly pulled out a knife and stab Bilaly on the neck, causing him serious injury and profuse bleeding; that the victim was then rushed to the Janjanbureh Clinic where he was pronounced dead upon arrival, by health workers.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer Superintendent Lamin Njie, confirmed the incident and said Lamin Samura was since arrested and is helping the Police in their investigations.
