Information reaching this medium has it that Magistrate Surakata Danso of the Brikamaba Magistrates’ Court who was arrested and detained at the serious crime unit at the police headquarters in Banjul was released on Friday December 2.
According to the family source, Magistrate Danso who was arrested by the Brikamaba police on Tuesday 1 November 2016 at his residence in Brikamaba between the hours of 6pm and 7pm was detained at Brikamaba police station during the night of Tuesday and transferred on the following day to the serious crime unit at the police headquarters in Banjul where he was detained up to the time of his release.
“My uncle was finally released on Friday the day of the victory celebration of president elect Adama Barrow but no charges are preferred against him”.
